居住在洛杉矶的帅小伙Christian（韦斯利.A.拉姆齐饰）是位风流倜傥的同性恋者，嗜好与各种各样的交际男发生一夜情，并且经常在与他同在餐馆打工的朋友们面前炫耀自己的经历。然而当某天4位摩门教徒搬进他公寓的隔壁后，Christian的人生开始了变化。一开始Christian尝试着友好得去接近这群摩门教徒，但是他发现摩门教徒极度排斥同性恋者。于是Christian与朋友们打赌，自己会在2星期之内搞掂4位摩门教徒其中的一位，并且拿到他的内库来作证明。但在接触的过程中，克里斯蒂安发觉自己深深的爱上了Elder Aaron Davis（史蒂夫.桑德沃斯饰，哈佛毕业，好像还是中文系），经过一番努力之后，当Christian终于赢得Aaron的心，两人忘情拥口勿的时候，却被其他的摩门教徒撞见。按照摩门教的规矩，Aaron回被遣送回家并接受处罚。Christian得知Aaron因为瀑风雪使机场关闭而滞留后，立即赶往那里，两人在旅馆度过了浪漫的一夜，Christian也向Aaron倾述了自己成为同性恋的经历。但是第二天清晨，Aaron还是不辞而别回到家中，只留下一个怀表给Christian。返回洛杉矶的Christian一直期盼着Aaron的回归，并想尽办法得知了Aaron家里的电话。而Aaron却在母亲的刺激下割腕企图自煞……
好几个地方自己和主角都一起哭了，不像断背山那样宏大，挺温暖的，和魔女的条件感觉有点像，两个人通过这段经历都改变了自己生活的态度
