With the development of Chinese economy, the logistic demand in China has also experienced a rapid increase. Ports are major bearers of social logistics, especially imports and exports. Portal logistics can promote portal economy, and further promote regional economy, even on the national level. Therefore its role in the development of national economy has gained great significance by time. At present, many international large ports are developing into modern logistic ports. Compared with those large ports, the logistic development in our country has been lagging behind. Representing the large ports in South China, Guangzhou Port has to achieve sustainable development through reformation ---modern portal logistics. Therefore, the construction of a modern international logistic center in southern China based mainly on Guangzhou Port is also listed on the plan of the local government.

This issue shows that the condition of Guangzhou Port logistics. Through using the SWOT method, the assay digs on four aspects, involving strength, weakness, opportunity and treat, to achieve a conclusion on the gap of development between Guangzhou Port and others. On the basis of the analysis, the assay also provides some policy suggestions on how to solve the present problems, promote the development, and be an available reformation reference to other ports to reform.

Ｗith　the　development　of　economy，　Ｃhina　has　witnessed　an　increasing　demand　for　logistics．Port　begins to act as a main place for social logistics, especially an support for import and export logistics. Port Logistics can not only advance port’s economy but also make pushes to both　regional 　and national economy,  So it begins to play a more and more important role in the development of  national economy in China. At present, many big ports in the world have been in the process of changing themselves to modernizational ports. Compared to some big international ports, the development of ports in China still falls behind. Being the representitive of major ports in South China, Guangzhou port will achieve its sustainable development through reforming into a modernizational port　characterized by logitics. Therefore, Guangzhou Municipal Government plans to build an internatioanl logitics center in South China basing on Guangzhou port.
 
  By using the SWOT method to analyze four parts, including　strengthes,　weaknesses, opportunities,  treats of Guangzhou Ports, this article describes the situation of logistics in Guangzhou Port. This article also sums up the gap in the development of logitics of guangzhou Port basing on that of other ports and offers some good suggestions in order to help Guangzhou Port develop, meanwhile making Guangzhou Port an reference to other ports for the development of modernizational logistics.

其实我觉得论文翻译主要是不要翻成太中式英语就好。毕竟不是专业英文的不可能要以翻译技巧来考虑所有东西……不然要死多少人＝＝只有我这种ws专业才有ws双语要求。
