“Akanishi Jin is debuting in the US while the rest of his hottie boy band, KAT-TUN tours Asia. Huge!

For those of you who don’t know, Akanishi Jin is basically one of the hottest men on Earth, with a smooth voice and guitar-picking skills to match. Leader of the J-Pop boy group KAT-TUN, he’s set to have a three-show tour in the Los Angeles area this June while the rest of the group tours Asia.

Why is this sooooo significant? This is the very first solo performances in the U.S. by a Johnny’s artist — a Japanese artist repped by the talent agency headed by former boy-band idol himself, Johnny Kitagawa. Akanishi is performing in three concerts around L.A. — from June 19th – 20th — and will be in the States from May through October, doing various promotional activities. (And hopefully more shows!)

But don’t get too excited. Announced on March 24th, the “You & Jin” solo tour tickets sold out in the first hour, when they went up for sale on April 15th. ”

first off Jin is not the leader of KAT-TUN, and secondly, in reference to the comment below, or above (I am not familiar to where this comment will be placed above or below) neither is Kazuya Kamenashi.

When KAT-TUN was formed, Tatsuya Ueda was designated the leader but after not liking the position, KAT-TUN went on without a leader. Kazuya and Jin may be the lead vocalist but they are not the leaders of the group, regardless what Akame fans want to believe.

Secondly, his solo concert has yet to sell out. Only the first show has sold out and that was sold out in 3 hours, not one. The last two shows still have over a hundred seats left to be sold for it to be considered sold out.

What is up with this blog, aside from his name, KAT-TUN's name, and the concert dates, none of it was correct.
