那么这一句是不是翻译的意思就是:在它的中心,不断扩大的冰的厚度有2英里.

如果冬天雪不多的话 夏天的阳光就会从边缘进入冰层

那只是一种比较诗意的写法

其实就是破冰,冰川融化之意囧

你非要翻译的话...夏日的骄阳由冰角割裂而入...
