Michael Eisner Tells CNBC, "The Strike Is Over"

Michael Eisner by Virginia Sherwood/CNBCDuring a Thursday afternoon visit to CNBC's Fast Money, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner boldly declared the three-month-old WGA strike "over." Pressed to elaborate, he said, "They've made a deal, they shook hands on a deal [and it] is going on Saturday to the constituents [for a vote]." Eisner went so far as to assert, "It's impossible that [the writers] turn it down. A deal has been made and they will be back to work reasonably soon."

The Fast Money host smartly asked Eisner if he was aware of what he was proclaiming over the airwaves, and the guest stuck to his story, saying, "I know the deal's been made and I know the strike is over. I have some friends in certain places and I believe there was a handshake [agreement] last Friday. It's possible they [the guild] will turn it down but it would be insane if they [did]."

Ugly Betty? 编剧称能赶出4集的剧本，但由于原先安排的是23集一个季度的剧情进度，而现在最多只能有17集了，所以肯定会对主线情节进行大的调整

Two and A Half Men 和 How I Met Your Mother 等老面孔的喜剧都有望再拍7集

Fox 的 Back to You 和 ABC 的 Samantha Who? 这两部今年新的喜剧则都从罢工中收益，他们都还可以最多再播9集

Gossip Girl 则会在4月末回归，预计在今年夏天结束第一季度的22集

Heroes 原本计划在第二季度的后半段开始名为''Villains''的第三部分内容，不过现在由于编剧认为只能完成3集，所以 NBC 可能不得不将其推迟到今年秋天再回归

NBC 的另一部剧 Friday Night Lights 虽然收视不佳，但口碑一直非常好，如果 NBC 为其开绿灯，则它还将播出5-6集

而另外的一些新剧，如 NBC 的 Chuck 和 ABC 的 Dirty Sexy Money 和 Pushing Daisies 则很可能延迟到9月再回归，因为推迟到秋天要比现在匆忙播出3、4集来得更加安全

24 的第7季目前已有8集在握，虽然可能会在今年秋天播出，但观众更有可能要到2009年初才能重新看到 Jack Bauer 的身影
